Healthy Body
Eating a healthy, balanced diet and exercising regularly will keep your body healthy. If you are worried about your health you should contact your GP or contact NHS direct. Remember that everyone has the right to confidential health advice, even if you are under 16 years old.

Healthy Mind
Looking after your mind is just as important as looking after your body. Did you know that 1 in 4 people will have a problem with their mental health at some point in their life. If you are worried about your mental health ( e.g. feeling depressed or anxious) you should not feel embarrassed about asking for help and advice.

Body Changes
Puberty starts when your brain releases hormones, which give your body instructions to develop and will effect your emotions and mood. Boys begin puberty between 10 and 15, while girls can start between 8 - 13 years old. There is no right or wrong age for girls to begin their periods, but they can get them between the ages of 8 and 16 years old.
