Changing Schools
This can happen for a lot of reasons: moving house, going to live with another parent etc. However, whatever the reason it can be very difficult to adjust. Changing schools means leaving old friends behind and having to make new friends in your new school. Being the new kid in school can lead to bullying, if this does happen make sure you tell your parent/ carer or teacher.

There are lots of ways of managing the work you do in school to ensure you do well. It is important to try and stay on top of school course work, homework and revision. There are also lots of choices to be made regarding GCSE options. If you are having difficulties speak to your teacher – they are there to help!

Further education can take many different forms and can be academic or vocational. There are lots of courses to choose from so take time to look at all your options. Further education can help you to get into certain types of employment more easily and to progress up the career ladder quicker
